The report offers insights and direction for strategic efforts to enhance academic and life outcomes, reduce disparities across race/ethnicity, gender, ability, economic status, and first language, and establishes priorities for future action including new approaches to curriculum and instruction, building on assets, addressing systemic barriers, improving student attendance and achievement, ensuring safe learning environments, and increasing staff diversity.

This document outlines school configuration scenario planning for the Coatesville Area School District, focusing on the realignment of elementary and middle school boundaries. The plan aims to establish four robust elementary and two middle school boundaries, driven by objectives to create neighborhood schools, minimize bus transport, balance attendance, and ensure ethnic and socio-economic equity. Utilizing predictive enrollment analytics with projections extending to 2034, the proposed configurations involve closing existing buildings, constructing a new elementary school, and optimizing capacity utilization while meeting educational needs and respecting community boundaries.

The committee reviewed the 2026-2027 budget presentations for the Chester County Intermediate Unit and the School District. Agenda items discussed and moved to the full board included financial statements, core service and occupational education budgets, preliminary budget adoption, and various contract renewals for subscriptions, computer services, and employment records. The meeting also covered the approval of donations, additions to staff positions including teachers, custodial and grounds keeping personnel, and athletics coaching positions, as well as a marketing agreement and property tax lien removal.
