The board also approved special education appointments and contracts for the 2025-2026 school year. New business involved approving a resolution to accept a donation for Modified Girls Flag Football, approving conference attendance for the Superintendent, approving tax certiorari settlements, approving a Memorandum of Understanding with Schenectady County Community College for College in High School, and approving the Single Audit Final Report. Business Office reports for November and December 2025 were approved, along with approvals for general bids and the Geothermal and 3rd Party Inspection and Environmental Monitoring Bid Contract Awards.

The board discussed and approved various personnel actions, SMS Exploratory Club Advisor Appointments, SMS Exploratory Club Principal Allotment, CKLA Memo - Summer Curriculum, School Counselors SHS - Approval to pay for work in August, SHS ECA Stipends, Fall 2025 Unpaid coaching recommendations, Non-Instructional Regents Testing Staff, Summer Regents Staffing, Tutors, Summer Curriculum Memo, Chaperone opportunities, and Emergency Hiring Memo. They also approved special education appointments and contracts, an instruction contract with Menands Union Free School District, a conference request, an amended tax warrant, a data access and security agreement, donations, new clubs with advisor appointments, creation of the Student Leadership Council SHS, an agreement with Helpsy Container-Textile Waste Bin, a Memorandum of Understanding with SUNY Oswego, an agreement with UAlbany for University in High School, HVCC College Credit, Unpaid Student Teaching with Russell Sage, Tax Roll Corrections, Creation of Insurance Reserve, Reserve Funding Levels, a Tax Certiorari Settlement, and Settlement Agreements. Additionally, they discussed committee reports and business office reports.

The meeting addressed personnel actions, including approvals recommended by the Superintendent of Schools. New business included the Girven & Ferlazzo Agreement for 2025-26, the Tabner, Ryan & Keniry, LLP agreement, Project Adventure Contracts for SHS and SMS Challenge Course Inspections for the 2025-26 school year, and a bid for science supplies. The tax rate and tax warrant were tabled until 7/18/25.
