Tri-Valley Program
The event was a Veteran's Day Program featuring introductions by the Student Council President and Vice President, recognizing over 130 attending veterans from the Army, Air Force, Marines, and Navy. A sixth-grade band performed, followed by a detailed presentation on the etiquette and symbolism of the American flag folding ceremony. A special speaker, Elijah Kendig, shared personal experiences from basic combat training and emphasized the importance of recognizing veterans' service, dedication, and sacrifice. The presentation concluded with an update from the board of directors of the Krooks Veterans Park, detailing the park's design, fundraising efforts, and its goal to honor past, present, and future veterans while serving as a welcoming place for families.
