Macomb City Council City Council Meeting
The City Council meeting included the adoption of a consent agenda and several business items. The Council approved an ordinance annexing property at 12208 North 1050th Road and 2312 Maple Avenue. Engineering and public works approvals included an engineering contract with IMEG for the public safety alley concrete replacement, the publication of requests for qualifications for engineering on community travel plans, advertisement for crack sealing bids, and advertisement for a pavement striping project. The Council also authorized the purchase of an emergency bypass pump for the University Drive lift station, awarded a bid for the fire station number one tuckpointing project to Autobomb Company, and approved a transit services agreement between the city and Western Illinois University for the 2026-2027 period.
