Galt Joint Union Elementary School District Regular Meeting
The board discussed several items, including enrollment updates for the new school year, outcomes of the 2026 summer programs, the summer meals program, and preliminary results from the Spring 2026 CAASPP and ELPAC assessments. The board reviewed the third quarterly Williams review report and received an update from the City and Schools Together (CAST) committee. Key actions taken included the approval of resolution no. 01 regarding zoning ordinances for parking lot projects, resolution no. 2 regarding the implementation of administrative regulation 5145.3 in response to ongoing litigation, a proposal for playground replacement at Marengo Ranch Elementary, the agricultural career technical education incentive grant application, and increases to both student and adult school meal prices. A first reading of various board policies was also conducted.
