Additionally, representatives from the Youth Council provided an update on the first annual Danville Youth Day event scheduled for the upcoming Saturday. The first item was a special use permit application for the operation of an outdoor hand car wash and detailing service, which was approved with conditions regarding water containment, hours of operation, and location restrictions. The second item involved a rezoning application for a property currently zoned for residential use to be repurposed for nonprofit-operated community services, including family counseling, educational resources, and community outreach programs.
