The commission formally accepted a resignation from one of its members. Additionally, the commission held a discussion and successfully selected a carnival theme for their upcoming fall festival booth, followed by breakout sessions dedicated to group project development.

The commission received a recap from the Arizona League of Cities and Towns conference, provided an overview of the 2025 West Valley Youth Summit including agenda and sign-up expectations, presented project details and expectations for Make A Difference Day, and reviewed booth decoration and operational expectations for the Goodyear Fall Festival. Additionally, commissioners participated in group breakout sessions to work on various projects.

Volunteers were solicited for roles at the State of the City event, such as reciting the Pledge of Allegiance and escorting VIP guests.
