The Ralls County Commission is preparing the budget for the year 2025. The County Revenue Fund has a balance of $360,309.82 with estimated 2025 revenues of $3,260,036.68. The Special Road and Bridge Fund has a balance of $592,335.37 with estimated 2025 revenues of $3,367,575.00. The Assessment Fund has a balance of $411,835.27 with estimated 2025 revenues of $386,250.00. The Ralls County Health Department and Ralls County Library also have proposed budgets for 2025.

The Ralls County Commission meetings involved updates on county projects and service roads from MODOT, discussions on Road & Bridge maintenance, and budget amendments. They signed accounts payable and payroll, reviewed check registers and cash receipts, and addressed the Road Use Agreement with Azimuth Renewables. The commission also discussed the 2024 budget, considered a COLA, and addressed the Ralls County Sunset Tax, deciding to place its continuation on the April 2023 ballot. Additional topics included the drone and 2024 budget with the Sheriff, a potential lactation room, and insurance proposals.
