This document outlines the Governor's Office of Information Technology's strategic goals for FY2025-26 through FY2026-27, detailing a new operating model to enhance service delivery for Coloradans and agency partners. Formal votes were taken to approve both the revised data classification definitions and the formation of the Data Governance Community of Practice.

Key discussions included the CDOT data journey focusing on breaking down silos and establishing a formal Office of Data Management, as well as the CDHS approach to integrating AI governance within existing data frameworks using a tiered classification system. Updates were provided on the state data portal modernization project, pending legislative session developments regarding AI compliance and data privacy, and efforts to streamline the annual data inventory process through improved training and agency support.
