City Of Redondo Beach Climate Action Plan

The City of Redondo Beach developed this Climate Action Plan (CAP) in cooperation with the South Bay Cities Council of Governments to reduce Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions. The plan outlines goals and strategies across five main categories: Land Use and Transportation, Energy Efficiency, Solid Waste, Urban Greening, and Energy Generation & Storage. It aims to guide actions over a 20-year period, establishing policies to achieve desired outcomes such as a more livable, equitable, and economically vibrant community, enhanced environmental quality, promotion of zero-emission vehicles, advancement of energy and water efficient buildings, waste reduction, creation of green spaces, and support for renewable energy and storage. The plan sets specific GHG reduction targets for 2020 and 2035.
