The council authorized the submission of an application to the Appalachian Regional Commission for the Water Treatment Plant Replacement Project and approved financial support for the Taylor Street Storm Sewer Collection System project. Discussions included public comments regarding a proposed sister-city relationship and traffic safety concerns on Camden Avenue. The council also approved municipal support services for the upcoming West Virginia Strawberry Festival, reviewed department reports from Public Works and the Fire Department, and authorized the payment of bills.
