Waukesha County Strategic Plan 2027-2031
The strategic plan for the Waukesha County Library System addresses county funding distribution and library standards. It outlines the implementation of a new funding formula and establishes "Minimums to Exempt" for library services, including materials expenditures, operating hours, staffing, collection size, public computers, and Wi-Fi access, all scaled by municipal population. The plan also incorporates Quality Assurance Standards, aiming to ensure equitable funding, enhance service quality, and promote accountability among county libraries for their tax exemption.
