The committee meeting covered several key topics. Regarding the Eco Oregon program, the application was completed and is under review by the committee. Plans for the Rock River Clean-Up include coordinating news releases, securing radio promotion, organizing volunteer groups, and managing logistical arrangements for the event. For the 2nd Street Native Plants project, the committee reviewed a draft budget and discussed alternative funding strategies, such as grants and private donations, as well as educational signage. New business included the approval of a Bird City designation and a preliminary discussion on developing the Sustainability Plan for future projects.
