Ragland Town Council Regular Session Meeting
The council addressed several items of business, including the selection of a bid for Masonite replacement at Town Hall and the initiation of a process to fill a District 2 vacancy. Financial and administrative approvals included a sponsorship for Ragland High School, longevity bonuses for retirees, the Rebuild Alabama Transportation Plan, and the purchase of conference room furniture. The council also authorized a police roadblock, approved the purchase of a camera system for the police evidence room, and appointed a Mayor Pro Tempore, a member to the Water Works Board, and authorized banking agreements. Additionally, the council approved the purchase of a utility trailer for the Street Department while tabling a lease agreement for a Fire Department UTV.
