State Teachers Retirement Board Retirement Board Meetings
The board discussed a travel policy update, member and retiree survey results, and an update on the defined contribution plan. The board selected Cheiron as the new actuary following an RFP process. Other topics included 2027 health care benefits and budget planning, an executive director's report on strategic initiatives, sunset rules review, and the election of a new board member. The board also received and approved reports from the Investment, Governance, and Human Resources committees and authorized expenses for professional development training.
