Ousd Legislative Coalition Meeting
The meeting included reports from representatives of local, state, and federal officials covering topics such as immigration support, federal funding for school programs, mental health and suicide prevention legislation, and career technical education (CTE) initiatives. The OUSD Superintendent provided updates on district themes, LCAP alignment, and the development of a strategic roadmap. Additionally, staff discussed the expansion of CTE pathways, career readiness efforts, and the importance of professional identity development starting at the elementary level. Organizational updates regarding nomination committees and upcoming community showcases were also addressed.
