The Workforce Colorado Rural Alliance Local Plan outlines the strategic vision and goals for preparing an educated and skilled workforce. The plan focuses on four strategic priorities for the 2024-2027 planning period: increasing accessibility to work-based learning; enhancing the quality of upskilling opportunities, jobs, and career pathways; implementing inclusive outreach strategies for underrepresented populations; and improving access to data for a stronger workforce network. The ultimate goal is to promote economic vitality, build a pipeline of skilled talent, create quality jobs, and support individuals, especially youth and those facing employment barriers, towards economic growth and self-sufficiency within rural communities.
