BoardCity Council of the City of Roanoke Rapids Regular Meeting
The Council recognized a scholarship recipient and students from the Wave Makers Youth Entrepreneurial Program. Public comments regarding personnel matters in the police department were heard. Several resolutions and budget amendments were approved, including funding for a police grant, National Night Out preparations, OSC unauthorized substance tax, property insurance increases, and equipment for the police department. The City Manager provided reports on bridge engineering services, parks and recreation activities, fire department updates, code enforcement actions, and pool operations.
