The Commission discussed and reviewed the Bluestem Subdivision development application, which involved a request for annexation and special use for a planned residential community. The discussion covered traffic concerns, site access, landscaping, fencing, and infrastructure requirements. The commission recommended approval of the annexation, the special use for the planned development, and the preliminary plat of subdivision, subject to stipulations regarding compliance with village engineering and fire protection requirements. Additionally, the commission accepted the annual report covering the period from June 1, 2025, to May 31, 2026.

The Board discussed several operational and administrative items, including the proclamation of Juneteenth, the support of the Illinois America 250 Commemoration, and various reductions of Letters of Credit for roadway and public improvement projects.
