Career Connected Education Student Access Working Group Meeting
The working group discussed the structure of a statewide career pathways system, utilizing a hybrid model that allows students to pursue college credits, credentials, or both. The session involved a healthcare pathway mapping exercise to identify coordination challenges such as transferability and course alignment across institutions. Additionally, the group reviewed three draft recommendations for dual enrollment—focusing on pathway alignment, sequencing, and teacher certification—and introduced recommendations for integrating credentials of value and expanding the CTE instructor pipeline.
