Lee County Commission Regular Session
The Commission addressed several items, including the reappointment of members to the E911 Board and the hearing of an appeal regarding a noise ordinance violation, which resulted in a vote to affirm the citations. Discussions were held concerning the membership of the IAC and potential cost overruns for Loachapoka Water Authority projects. The Commission authorized a request for an attorney general's opinion regarding the disclosure of delinquent garbage fee customers. Additional actions included the approval of a liquor license transfer, educational reimbursement requests for deputies, and the appointment of a representative to the Mid-South Resource Conservation and Development Council. A subdivision final plat approval was tabled for further review. Following an executive session to discuss a real estate transaction, the Commission authorized the County Engineer to negotiate and the Chairman to sign necessary documents, before adjourning into a budget work session.
