Abilene Independent School District Regular Meeting
The Board of Trustees held a meeting where they installed newly elected members and appointed new Board officers. The agenda included reports on STEM campus updates and recognitions for student achievements in athletics and nursing. The Board approved budget amendments, financial reports, the Public Information Act calendar, and school calendars. Additionally, the Board approved the Monique Burr Foundation Child Safety Matters curriculum to satisfy Senate Bill 9 requirements and acted on personnel matters, including the rescission of a resignation.
