The Commission addressed several zoning and land use applications. This included approval with proffers for a conditional zoning reclassification for the Townes at Rivercrest project. The commission recommended denial for the Dominion West Senior Housing project and its associated height exception request, as well as denial for a special exception for a cooperative parking agreement and a conditional use permit for King's Tobacco & Hookah Lounge. The Commission also voted to cancel the upcoming public hearing meeting scheduled for August 26, 2026.
