Other approvals included Pay App #4 for Garden Spot Mechanical, the 2026 Make a Wish Mother's Day Truck Convoy Agreement, and a DCNR grant application resolution. Treasurer's reports and payments for open purchase orders were approved. The Board also approved a waiver request concerning Stormwater Ordinance volume and rate controls for a property on Schoolhouse Road. Public Works received approval to purchase road salt. The Golf Course saw approvals for replacing a pressure tank, purchasing a mower and roller unit, and replacing/painting the banquet room flooring and furniture. The Public Safety report noted a significant increase in Fire Department calls for the year 2025.

The discussion focused on the Comprehensive Plan, specifically the Designated Growth Area (DGA) map, which directs future growth supported by infrastructure and aims to preserve agricultural areas. Analysis of land use within the Township showed agriculture at approximately 50% and single-family residential at over 18%. Within the DGA, warehouse development constitutes about 24.5% of the land base. Recommendations for future land use designations within the DGA included Farmland/Phased Future Development for northwestern farm properties and Residential Holding Areas for certain southern R-2 zoned parcels. For areas outside the DGA, it was recommended that R-1 zoned farm parcels be further evaluated. The Planning Commission requested that HRG provide several supporting maps, including the current zoning map and a map detailing preserved farms and farmland overlain with existing zoning. The next meeting is scheduled as a joint session with the Township Planning Commission and Board of Supervisors.
