The board discussed bids under advisement for the Lead Service Line Replacement project, Phase II. Additionally, the board reviewed a change order for the Lead Service Line Replacement project, Phase I, approved financial claims, and addressed special event requests for the Ankit Foundation Candlelight Tribute and Concert and the Lowe Block Party.

The council discussed and passed ordinances related to the Lafayette Farmers Market, including signage changes to allow for street cleaning and a minor adjustment to vehicle towing times. An ordinance for the refunding of sewage works revenue bonds was passed to save on interest rates. The council also approved an appropriation of local wheel tax funds specifically for the resurfacing and bike lane installation on Union Street. Finally, the council approved an ordinance to adjust salaries and discussed the transition of an internal police department IT position to the city's central IT department following a retirement.

Legislative actions included the final passage of an ordinance for bond issuance related to the 101 Main Street development, an ordinance to fix salaries for city officers and employees, and the vacation of a portion of First Street and Main Street. Additionally, the council approved a rezoning ordinance for residential development and the Lafayette Bike and Pedestrian Master Plan, which aims to enhance connectivity and transportation infrastructure over the next two decades.
