The Board of Education approved two resolutions regarding real property tax exemptions. The first resolution adopted provisions for a 50% real property tax exemption for the primary residences of surviving spouses of police officers killed in the line of duty. The second resolution adopted provisions for a full real property tax exemption for the primary residences of permanently and totally disabled military veterans. Additionally, the Board convened an executive session to discuss a personnel matter.
