Geese College Of Business At The University Of Illinois Strategic Vision 2029
The strategic vision for the Geese College of Business at the University of Illinois centers on significantly expanding access to education and opportunities. This involves more than doubling the total number of students, specifically targeting an increase in freshman enrollment to 1,000 by Fall 2029, while prioritizing affordability through scholarships. The plan also focuses on broadening student participation in experiential learning and study abroad programs. A critical component is the comprehensive integration of AI literacy and competency across the curriculum to prepare students for future industry demands. Furthermore, the college aims to cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset among all students through initiatives like the re-launched Origin Ventures Office of Entrepreneurship and a new campus-wide entrepreneurship minor, alongside re-establishing the Riker Real Estate Academy as a leading program.
