This Comprehensive Recreation, Parks, and Open Space Plan for the Borough of Lemoyne was initiated to analyze current recreational assets and develop recommendations for their future. The plan aims to establish a comprehensive park system that ensures sufficient, appropriate, and inclusive recreation for all residents. Key strategic areas include Park Redevelopment, Connectivity and Open Space, Shade Trees and Stormwater Management, and Recreational Programs, with a vision to provide safe, sustainable places and preserve natural assets.

The Lemoyne Planning Commission held its monthly meeting on February 13, 2024, focusing on Section 550-88 Electric Vehicle Charging Stations Ordinance. The discussion involved NEC requirements, charger functionality, safety concerns, and necessary infrastructure upgrades. The commission reviewed the ordinance, incorporating suggestions for load studies, safety inspections, and clarifications on DCFC installations in different zoning districts. The meeting concluded with a motion to table the review pending final changes to the document.

The Lemoyne Planning Commission held its monthly meeting on March 12, 2024, reviewing and approving the January meeting minutes. The commission tabled discussion on the Section 550-88 Electric Vehicle Charging Stations Ordinance to allow for further review and revisions based on comments received. The commission recommended approval of a rezoning request for six parcels south of Plum Street from Urban Residential to Commercial General, following approval by the Cumberland County Planning Commission.

The commission discussed Section 550-88 Electric Vehicle Charging Stations Ordinance, clarifying regulations on DCFCs in residential districts and addressing county recommendations. After discussion and revisions, the commission recommended approval of the revised EVCS ordinance. The next meeting is scheduled for May 14, 2024.

The Lemoyne Borough Sewer Committee meeting of August 15, 2019, focused on the sewer rate structure. Committee members reviewed budget projections and timelines for implementing a new rate structure, aiming for January 2020. Public comments were received from Paula Costick and Joseph Ward regarding the rate structure and its impact. A special presentation on this topic was scheduled for the September 5th work session.
