Fowlerville Community Schools Board Of Education Regular Meeting
The board meeting included the recognition of retiring staff members, the District Teacher of the Year, and the District Support Staff Person of the Year. The Board reviewed reports from several committees, including personnel, asset management, policy, curriculum and technology, and finance. Key actions included the first reading of numerous board policies, approval of new 9th-grade courses, a Unified Sports course, budget amendments, and the LESA budget. The Board also approved tax certifications, an annual MHSAA membership renewal, contract extensions for various administrators, a second amendment to the Superintendent's employment contract, and authorization to develop a Reduction In Force plan. Additionally, the board adopted new K-8 classroom mathematics materials and held a closed session regarding negotiations.
