A resolution was approved to allocate funds for the fire station feasibility study. The 2025 CED Contract was approved with one opposing vote after a discussion on bringing more businesses to Madison County and Elwood. The discussion on the Callaway Park Restroom site location was tabled for further findings and alternative site possibilities. Additionally, a contract with CivilSite Group for land planning at the old Flanagan property was approved.

The Elwood Redevelopment Commission meeting included discussions with Elwood School Superintendent, Dr. Troy Friedersdorf, regarding a donation of TIF Funds. Les Graham of Vintage Rollers provided comments on the placement of new restrooms in Callaway Park. The commission discussed new specs and requests for proposals for the Callaway Park Restroom Facility. They also considered a request for proposals/offers for property at 2401 South A Street, and approved a resolution establishing procedures for offering of real estate. Additionally, they approved a resolution memorializing the selection of Card & Associates for a Youth Sports Facility Agreement.
