The Local Control and Accountability Plan for Novato Unified School District outlines strategies to engage, inspire, and empower all students. The board meeting covered a wide range of topics, including closed session items such as personnel matters and collective bargaining. Trustees heard extensive updates regarding student activities and achievements across the district, including sports playoffs, visual and performing arts events, and campus spirit weeks. Formal recognitions were held for an award-winning parent and the introduction of a new assistant principal. Additionally, the Board received an annual update from the Novato Charter School, which highlighted the school's focus on Waldorf pedagogy, student support systems, and upcoming accreditation renewals.
