City Council Regular Meeting
The council received an award for collaboration in the Speedway at Bayfair Project and issued a proclamation recognizing Pride Month. Consent calendar items included the adoption of the Single Audit Report, the first quarter investment report, authorization for funding and engineering consulting agreements, approval of a road maintenance project list, and appropriation for a bridge abutment repair project. A public hearing was held to establish rent program fees, amend the master fee schedule, and prohibit the pass-through of rent stabilization fees to tenants. Additionally, the council reconsidered and failed a previous motion regarding the rehabilitation of Lake Chabot Road and discussed several new referral items regarding food service packaging, home hardening, and other city policies.
