The Board approved a variance request for a rear setback and distance separation for a residential gazebo. A rezoning request for a property from residential to parking to serve an adjacent restaurant was approved with several operational conditions, including traffic control measures, litter pick-up, and specific construction requirements for perimeter walls. A variance for setbacks, pervious area, and parking spaces was also approved for a property in a residential district. Finally, the Board approved a motion to recess regular meetings during the month of July.

The agenda includes recognition for Hialeah police officers for life-saving efforts and a vulnerability assessment presentation. Board appointments include the Youth Advisory Committee. Routine items under the consent agenda involve roof replacement contracts for parks, procurement of storm drainage structures, equipment leases, and maintenance agreements.
