St. John The Baptist Parish School Board Regular Board Meeting
The board meeting included several educational recognitions, including the 5th Ward High School graduates and the Instructional Leadership Cohort members. The board approved the renewal of a cooperative agreement with the LSU AgCenter 4H, the implementation of Retiree First for insurance, and the 2027 Medicare Advantage Plan renewal. Several audit and financial matters were addressed, including the audit engagement letter for Maudlin & Jenkins, as well as various construction change orders and project completions, including the East St John High School HVAC project and the Emily C Watkins Walkway Canopy. Additionally, multiple professional service agreements were approved, covering ground maintenance, third-party TPA services for liability insurance, staffing services, alarm monitoring, and a resolution to advertise for IT staffing support.
