Other actions included approval of an MOU with Aver Health for drug testing services, authorization of Laredo agreements for subscription access, approval of a new resident at Howard Haven, and a contract for the upcoming fall election. The planning commission received approval for the rezoning of property and a related subdivision. Additionally, the coroner was granted approval to purchase a power lift system for the transfer van to enhance safety and reduce physical labor. Finally, the board approved payroll and operating claims.

The board discussed a request for a design modification from a dry detention basin to a wet pond for the Promise Wedding Estates venue. Key concerns addressed included safety measures due to the proximity of the pond to the road, elevation and slope requirements, and ongoing maintenance. The board approved the design change with stipulations regarding safety precautions. Additionally, the board received an update from BCS Management regarding an analysis of the Deon Woods facility, noting its poor condition and the need for immediate investigative work to establish the plant as a viable utility.

The Board of Zoning Appeals heard four petitions regarding variance requests for property setbacks and accessory structure placements.
