Rifle City Council Regular Meeting
The council conducted various administrative and legislative actions, including the administration of the oath of office to the new Police Chief and a presentation from YouthZone regarding their programming and funding. The council approved grant awards for several non-profit organizations, implemented a grant program to support local businesses affected by construction, accepted the South Rifle Open Space Master Plan, and awarded contracts for the Senior Center HVAC and boiler project and the Police Department masonry project. Additionally, the council approved a 5-year lease agreement for new golf carts, updated a property exchange and park and ride agreement, and appointed a new representative to the Colorado River Valley Chamber of Commerce Board.
