The committee held a meeting to discuss the end of the fiscal year budget and received a report from the Director of Parks and Recreation. Other agenda items included updates on park presentations, community artist initiatives, and preparations for upcoming seasonal events, such as the concert series and July 4th celebrations.

The Commission held a public hearing regarding amendments to the Zoning Ordinance concerning mobile food units, resulting in approval of the proposed changes. Additionally, the Commission reviewed and approved the site plan for an accessory building at the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, which includes the construction of a storage building, a relocated playground, and associated site improvements. Staff provided an update on upcoming agenda items for a future meeting and introduced the new Community Development Director.

The Commission held a public hearing regarding an amendment to the 'Twin Eagles' Planned Unit Development Master Plan to allow a radio station as a permitted use and modify setback and architectural requirements, including a condition prohibiting radio transmission towers. Additionally, the Commission discussed and approved amendments to various sections of the Zoning Ordinance, including definitions, conditional use permits for accessory dwelling units, board of adjustment powers, and notice requirements for public hearings. Finally, the Commission reviewed and approved an amendment to the 'Day's Run West' Planned Unit Development Master Plan to allow a restaurant near a kennel and adjust architectural requirements, along with a related site plan for a multi-tenant building.

The meeting included the reading of the CHARACTER COUNTS! statement and the approval of the agenda. The commission focused on the certification of the Firefighter EMT / Paramedic list as well as the Laborer list.

The commission reviewed and approved the Light Equipment Operator Certified List. Additionally, the commission approved the revised recruitment plan for the Building Inspector I position.
