Chowchilla City Council Regular City Council Meeting
The council reviewed and approved several items, including a 2025 Urban Water Management Plan, a General Plan Amendment incorporating the 2026 Madera County Multi-Jurisdictional Local Hazard Mitigation Plan, and authorization for Federal Aviation Administration Airport Improvement Program grant applications for 2026 and 2027. Additionally, the council appointed voting delegates for the League of California Cities annual conference and approved an allocation from the Council Contingency Fund for the Chowchilla District Chamber of Commerce. Departmental and verbal reports were provided covering transportation projects, recreation programs, IT security upgrades, police and fire department activities, and public works infrastructure maintenance.
