BoardLand & Water Conservation Committee Minutes
The committee discussed several topics including the review and action on Notices of Noncompliance and the cancellation of a Notice of Noncompliance for the Farmland Preservation Program. Departmental updates were provided regarding current operations, stream monitoring, and the Annual Tree Program. Additional discussions covered preparations for the Jefferson County Fair, an update on Farm Technology Days, and the Speaker's Task Force on Water Quality. The committee also reviewed the monthly financial report and the status of Purchase of Agriculture Conservation Easement (PACE) applications.
