Sole Source: If sale is less than ~$50,000, use sole source. Not viable—pivot immediately to a formal competitive bid via U3P; ensure you hold a City of Price business license. Register on U3P, monitor Carbon County public notices and the ETV Newspaper, and be ready with CGL ($1M/$3M), Workers’ Comp, and a contract bond for projects over $50,
Coops: Coops aren’t used today—consider suggesting Utah Statewide Cooperative Contracts (via U3P), NASPO ValuePoint, and OMNIA Partners.
Entity: City of Price, UT
Status: Not a viable path; the city shows a near-total absence of sole source awards for significant purchases. Pivot to formal competitive bidding.
