Engineering design support to upgrade the Laurel Drive pump station: evaluation (including flow and environmental assessments), three site visits, limited survey, coordination with vendors, final design, construction drawings/specifications, opinion of probable construction cost, and permit identification/preparation of construction documents. Contract duration: 180 calendar days. Solicitation for qualified Delaware-licensed engineering firms.

Work consist of repairs to boat ramp, add rip rap to earth embankment on upstream slope and downstream of the downstream apron, repair undermined sidewalk, repairing spalls, cracks, pop outs, scaling and delamination in concrete wingwalls, repairs to fence extensions and railings, investigating source of leaking water and condition of concrete wingwall to determine appropriate repair, repairing leaks and welds on the fish ladder, repairs to pedestrian walkway and repair opening between trash rack panels on the outlet works.

The scope of work includes all necessary labor, equipment, and material to install 1 – 16"x12" wet tap and valve, 1 - 16" insertion valve, 1 - 16" pipe cap, approx. forty (40)± of flowable fill for pipe section to be abandoned in-place, 1 emergency pump connection, 96 SF of 6" concrete flatwork, bypass pumping, wet well lining and restoration, and site restoration.
