Most of the basement needs walls to be demolished, mold remediated, and walls rebuilt to function differently. The ceiling will be updated to create an exposed ceiling and will need all hvac soft pipe replaced to metal. Ceiling insulation will need to be removed and disposed. Electrical housing for 6” led disc lighting will need to be installed. All ceiling joists, hvac, electrical, etc. Will be spray painted white with flat ceiling paint that adheres well to the various items. The fire suppression system will need to be updated. A beam will need to replace an existing bearing wall. Electrical will need to be updated for the new layout. Drywall texture needs to match the rest of the building. The new layout will create a large room for youth activities. The paint will need to match the benjamin moore french canvas satin paint wall and tapestry beige trim on the main level. Baseboard trim of 5” craftsman style will need to be installed on each wall. 2’x2’ shaw contract carpet tiles will used for the flooring.
