The project will consist of milling and profiling to establish a desired cross-slope along with resurfacing of approximately 0.75 miles of existing roadway sections. Pavement cores will be taken to determine the thickness of the proposed pavement. Milling between 0" and 2" will be conducted for each section once the existing pavement thickness has been determined to promote cross-slope correction. The work includes the reconstruction of existing roadway cross-slope to improve drainage characteristics, the adjustment or reconstruction of manholes, catch basins, and water valve boxes located in the street sections. The catch basins will be reconstructed where they are deteriorated and non-functional. Resurfacing of a minimum of 2" new asphalt (leveling course and surface course) will be conducted on all roads.

Sole Source: Deprioritize—approvals are unlikely; plan for a competed path.
Coops: Ask if the Ohio DAS Cooperative Purchasing Program (STS/STC or ODOT for transportation items) can be used to bypass a formal bid when your product is on contract; buyer hasn’t historically used coops, but encourage exploration.
Entity: City of Campbell, Ohio.
Status: No evidence of sole source awards; city culture is rigid on competition.
