Provide alarm permit services; processing new alarm permit applications, which may include data entry, fund processing, and the issuance of permits; tracking new alarm system installations to ensure compliance with permit requirements and engaging with property managers, alarm installers, and citizen groups to answer questions and explain the city s ordinance requirements; maintaining a dynamic database of all alarm permit holders within city limits; mailing renewal notices, managing the processing of returned forms and payments, and following up on non-renewal alarm users. Coordinating with applicable city staff to address any violation of the city s ordinance. See outside link.
