Procurement guidance and navigation tips.
Lower scores indicate easier procurement processes. Created by Starbridge.
Sole Source: If sale is less than $10,000, use sole source. Not supported/rare. Deprioritize and route to a formal RFP/RFB.
Coops: Frequently procures through Kansas Department of Administration – Statewide Contracts, OMNIA Partners, Sourcewell, or HGACBuy; you can gain access through the Starbridge reseller & contract-vehicle platform — reach out to your Starbridge contact to pursue onboarding.
City of Arkansas City (KS): No evidence of an active sole source pathway; treat as low-probability.
Threshold: None published. Note: non-routine purchases reportedly require City Commission approval at ≥ $10,000 (expect frequent reviews).
