Conduct a comprehensive geomorphic and ecological assessment of depositional islands and bars in the Lower Wenatchee River, from the Peshastin River confluence to the Columbia River. Evaluate persistence, characteristics, and ecological function of key depositional features and synthesize findings into planning and pre-design criteria to inform future salmon habitat restoration actions. provide information critical for understanding riverine and riparian processes that dictate island/bar development and persistence, developing conceptual design guidance for restoration projects, and prioritizing future habitat improvement locations.

Construct stream restoration activities. Work includes actions to provide machine access to worksites, temp stream bypasses, excavation, removal and grading of channel banks and floodplains, installation of large wood, sorting and placement of streambed mix in the restored channel and floodplain footprint, spoils placement, and grading.
