The project consists of the removal of a partition, a set of double egress doors and associated hardware. There will also be removal of aluminum storefront, glazing, and concrete masonry units as indicated on the drawings. New work consists of the construction of a 2-hour fire barrier with 1-1/2-hour rated double egress doors. Doors will be on magnetic hold opens with connection to the fire alarm system. Hardware is specified so that the doors can have a card access added in the future. Areas where the storefront has been removed will be infilled with concrete masonry units to match existing adjacent surfaces. There will be patching to match existing quarry tile flooring and base.

Supply and install 1 new kohler generator model: 24rcla-qs50, 24kw natural gas generator, 120/240 1ph, with block heater. Supply and install new gas piping as required to tie-in the new generator. No press or slip fit connectors to be used. Contractor to tie into existing switchgear and controls. Existing 2 wire start module to be reused. Reuse existing conductors from ats to generator. Reuse existing 120v circuit to the block heater.
