Work includes High-pressure water clean (5,000 to 10,000 psi), spot power tool clean to an SSPC-SP11 standard. Apply a three (3) coat epoxy urethane fluoropolymer system. Wet Interior: Abrasive blast clean to an SSPC-SP10 near-white metal standard. Apply a three (3) coat zinc epoxy system. apply a polyurethane caulk to the roof lap seams. The mechanical mixer is to be removed and reinstalled after the topcoat is cured. Dry Interior: Abrasive blast clean the entire top of the platform (including 1 ft. up the riser wall), the entire transition cone, the entire access tube, and spot coating failures throughout to an SSPC-SP6 commercial standard. Apply a three (3) coat epoxy system to the access tube and transition cone and a spot two (2) coat epoxy system to the rest of the prepared surfaces. Foundation: Repair grout. Repair spalls. Water clean and apply a two (2) coat epoxy system. Repairs: 1) Replace the bowl manway gasket. 2) Replace the wet interior roof hatch. 3) Replace the access tube roof hatch. 4) Install a hatch at the top platform. 5) Install handholds at the painter’s (bird) hatch. 6) Install deflector bars on the fill/draw pipe. 7) Replace the sample tap on the fill/draw pipe. 8) Remove the fill/draw pipe insulation for inspection. 9) As a contingency replace sections of the fill/draw pipe. 10) As a contingency weld pits on the fill/draw pipe. 11) Install an aluminum jacketing over the fill/draw pipe insulation. 12) Replace the mud valve. 13) Install a condensate drain line. 14) Install a flap gate on the overflow discharge. 15) Repair the hole in the overflow pipe. 16) Install a fall prevention device on the wet interior ladder. 17) Adjust the fall prevention devices. 18) Install a pressure vacuum vent. 19) Install cathodic clips and pressure fitting. 20) Install a roof handrail with a painter’s railing. 21) Weld a rigging lug on the transition cone. 22) Install a grate over the catch basin. 23) Install light fixtures in the riser and access tube. 24) Replace the dry interior light bulbs. 25) Install grounding rods for the structure.
