Demolition package will consist of the removal of all structures, debris pavement and any other features on site to promote the establishment of vegetation on Eighteen (18) properties within the Village. Hazardous material inspection of the structures to be demolished has already occurred; reports are available to bidders. Asbestos was found in four (4) properties and Lead Based Paint was found in two (2) properties. The County is bidding demolition and hazardous materials removal together. The demolition contractor must be licensed for hazardous materials removal or must partner/subcontract with a licensed hazardous materials abatement and removal contractor. After the removal of the hazardous materials by the licensed contractor or subcontractor, demolition of the structure may occur.
