This Regional Recreation and Culture Master Plan, developed by the Beaver Regional Partnership, aims to enhance and sustain recreation and culture services for residents and visitors through optimized public investment and collaboration. Key strategies include fostering collaboration among municipalities and volunteer groups, strengthening volunteer support, and promoting regional opportunities. The plan outlines a framework for facility classification, infrastructure planning, project prioritization, and a shared regional function approach for areas such as scheduling, event coordination, volunteer support, marketing, and plan implementation. Its intended outcomes are to improve the quality of life, community cohesiveness, and economic prosperity within the Beaver Region.

The Beaver County Area Structure Plan for the Equity Industrial Park aims to guide future industrial development, promoting economic diversification through light, medium, and low-impact eco-friendly industrial activities. Key pillars include establishing a sound planning framework, providing for diverse industrial uses, integrating with existing landscapes, and developing efficient infrastructure for land use, transportation, and services. The plan also prioritizes safeguarding environmental features and wetlands by designating them as Municipal Reserve.

This Intermunicipal Development Plan is a joint statutory plan developed by Strathcona County and Beaver County to ensure coordinated land use decisions and collaborative long-range planning within their shared intermunicipal development area. It focuses on conserving natural landscapes, the Beaver Hills Moraine, and environmentally significant areas; balancing agricultural and country residential land uses; maintaining safe and efficient transportation and infrastructure; diversifying the economy with recreation and tourism opportunities; and establishing a framework for responsible intermunicipal coordination and dispute resolution.
